Chrysler has already announced major changes since its bankruptcy restructuring. These changes include moving the Chrysler brand upmarket, and keeping the Dodge brand more sport-oriented. Among the ways that Chrysler is changing its branding strategy is by creating a new, distinct brand for its Ram pickup trucks.
As Chrysler overhauls its entire brand structure, Dodge Philadelphia PA says that the Dodge brand will be refined, and this will leave the Ram out of place compared to its current position. With these changes Chrysler management will likely change, and naturally it will include more personnel from Fiat.
Fiat and Chrysler are hoping that the changes will help nurture the uniqueness of their lineups, says one Kansas City used cars dealer, without diluting or hindering the image of individual products.
Fiat products are expected to arrive in Chrysler showrooms and Tennessee Chrysler dealers are certainly eager to get their hands on exciting new models, but that won’t be any time soon. This will pose a big problem for Chrysler as restructuring will not necessarily expedite the arrival of these new products. Thus Chrysler’s biggest challenge continues to involve aging products.
